After the funeral
The day itself can feel like a destination — but for many families, the weeks that follow are when grief and admin both arrive together. Here is how we keep walking with you.
Ashes and final certificates
For cremation, we collect the ashes on your behalf and bring them to you when you are ready. We will also follow up with any final certificates from the crematorium or registrar.

Estate, probate and notifications
Closing accounts, claiming insurance, dealing with property and probate — these can stretch over months. We can recommend solicitors and, where helpful, sit with you as you make calls.
“You do not have to do all of this in the first week.”
Memorial and remembrance
Some families plant a tree. Some scatter ashes in a place that mattered. Others wait a year and gather again. We can help shape any of these — or simply listen as you decide.
When grief catches up
It is common for grief to feel sharper a few weeks after the funeral, when the practical things have settled. If you would like to talk to a bereavement counsellor, we can put you in touch.
